Haunt Your Home in The Sims 4 with New Paranormal Stuff Pack

The Sims 4 is adding some new scares to the game later this month with the release of The Sims 4 Paranormal Stuff Pack.

The upcoming add-on will add a number of spooky features to The Sims 4 including a haunted house lot type, ghostly roommates, séances, and a paranormal investigator career path.

With The Sims 4 Paranormal Stuff Pack, your Sim can move into a haunted house where they’ll share their space with some past residents who are having a little trouble moving on.

Some specters are playful, other mischievous, and a few are downright ornery. If they leave accursed objects behind, your Sim must try to tidy up and remove them. Your Sim can also offer gifts or attempt communicating with the specters to try and get on their good side. If they’re satisfied, Sims might get a present in return as the specter fades away.

You can also turn to the séance table where you can communicate with the world beyond. Perform a séance to sense the mood of specters, commune with the dead, or complete a ghastly ritual. Your Sim will also be able to summon a ghostly guide by the name of René Duplantier Guidry, a flirty apparition who will help you to appease the playful spooks haunting your home. You can also use a séance to summon Bonehilda the skeletal maid for a spot of cleaning.

Once a Sim overcomes their fear, restores balance to the home, and masters the paranormal you’ll earn a Paranormal Investigator license, which allows your Sim to pick up gigs as a freelance Paranormal Investigator to help other Sims experiencing haunting phenomena.

The Sims 4 Paranormal Stuff Pack comes out on January 26, 2021, on Origin (for Mac and PC), Steam, Xbox One, and PlayStation®4.
