Here Are the Horror Titles Available on VIZIO WatchFree+ In February

It’s a new month, and with it comes a new collection of free-to-watch horror movies on VIZIO WatchFree+. Here’s a look at what you can check out on-demand this month via your VIZIO TV or by anyone using the VIZIO mobile app.

Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance

Nicolas Cage stars in “Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance,” reprising his role as Johnny Blaze, the man cursed to become the Ghost Rider. Hiding out in Eastern Europe and trying to suppress his fiery alter-ego, he’s reluctantly drawn back into action when he’s offered a deal: protect a young boy named Danny, who is being targeted by the Devil (who is also Danny’s father), and he’ll be freed from the Ghost Rider curse. Johnny and Danny’s mother, Nadya, and a priest named Moreau must fight demonic forces and uncover the secrets behind the Spirit of Vengeance. At the same time, Johnny battles his own inner demons and the immense power he wields. The film also stars Ciarรกn Hinds (“Belfast”) and Idris Elba (“Thor: Ragnarok”).

Insidious: Chapter 2

In the sequel to the 2010 film Insidious, the Lamberts believe that they have defeated the spirits that have haunted their family. However, they soon discover that evil is not so easily defeated. The film stars Patrick Wilson (“Watchmen”), Rose Byrne (“Bridesmaids”), and Barbara Hershey (“Black Swan”).

Insidious: Chapter 3

This prequel, set before the haunting of the Lambert family, tells the story of gifted psychic Elise Rainier (Lin Shaye), who reluctantly agrees to use her ability to contact the dead to help a teenage girl who a dangerous supernatural entity has targeted. The film stars Dermot Mulroney (“My Best Friend’s Wedding”), Stefanie Scott (“Girl in the Basement”), and Angus Sampson (“Mad Max: Fury Road”).

Insidious: The Last Key

Lin Shaye reprises her role as parapsychologist Dr. Elise Rainier. She faces her most fearsome and personal haunting yet when she is drawn back to her ghostly childhood home, where the terror of the “Insidious” franchise began.

Hell Fest

A masked serial killer turns a horror-themed amusement park into his own personal playground, terrorizing a group of friends while the rest of the patrons believe that it is all part of the show. “Hell Fest” stars Cynthea Mercado (“The Gifted”), Stephen Conroy (“Black Panther”), and Amy Forsyth (“The Gilded Age”).

Grindhouse: Death Proof

In this homage to exploitation films, a scarred and charismatic stunt driver uses his souped-up, “death proof” car to stalk and murder groups of young women. The film is split into two parts, the first focusing on his initial victims and the second on a new group of women who not only survive his attack but turn the tables on him in a thrilling and violent climax. “Death Proof” stars Kurt Russell (“Escape From New York”), Zoรซ Bell (“The Hateful Eight”), and Rosario Dawson (“Sin City”).

The Blair Witch Project

Though not the first, “The Blair Witch Project” helped popularize the found-footage genre. The film collects the footage of three film students who vanished after traveling into a Maryland forest to film a documentary on the local Blair Witch legend. It stars Heather Donahue (“Taken”), Michael C. Williams (“FBI”), and Joshua Leonard (“Scorpion”).

Book of Shadows: Blair Witch 2

The follow-up to “The Blair Witch Project” takes a meta approach to the sequel, leaving behind the found footage format and instead telling the story of a group of fans of the first film who become obsessed with the Blair Witch legend. Like the trio in the original film, the group travels to the Black Hills forest to explore the mythology and phenomenon, only to come face to face with their own neuroses and possibly the witch herself. “Book of Shadows: Blair Witch 2” stars Jeffrey Donovan (“Burn Notice”), Stephen Barker Turner (“Law and Order: Criminal Intent”), and Erica Leerhsen (“The Texas Chainsaw Massacre”).

3 From Hell

“3 From Hell” is the third and final installment in Rob Zombie’s “Firefly” trilogy. Picking up after the events of The Devil’s Rejects, the film finds Otis (Bill Moseley), Baby (Sheri Moon Zombie), and Captain Spaulding (Sid Haig) incarcerated and seemingly nearing their end. However, a mysterious benefactor orchestrates their escape, leading them on another chaotic and violent road trip. The film follows their exploits as they flee the law and leave a trail of carnage across the American Southwest, showcasing their twisted family dynamic and their brutal, yet strangely endearing, approach to life.

The Hangman

In “The Hangman,” Leon (LeJon Woods; “The Tomorrow Job”) takes his teenage son on a camping trip into deep rural Appalachia in an effort to mend their troubled relationship. Unbeknownst to them, the mountain region houses sinister secrets. A local cult has summoned an evil demon born of hate and pain, known to them as The Hangman, and now the bodies have begun to pile up. When Leon wakes to discover his son missing from camp, he must face the murderous cult and the bloodthirsty monster that is The Hangman to find him.

Last Night at Terrace Lanes

When a bloodthirsty cult invades a bowling alley on its final night of operation, a high schooler on a date from hell must join forces with her survivalist dad to fend off the crazed murderers. The film stars Francesca Capaldi (“Dog with a Blog”), Ken Arnold (“Lady in the Lake”), and Mia Rae Roberts (“The Jester”).

The Outwaters

This Screambox Original film tells the story of four travelers who encounter menacing phenomena while camping in a remote stretch of the Mojave Desert. The film stars Robbie Banfitch (“White Light”), Leslie Ann Banfitch (“Tinsman Road”), and Scott Schamell (“Exvallis”).

CreepyPasta

Trapped in an abandoned house, a nameless man desperately searches for clues about how he got there. The answer is hidden within a series of disturbing viral videos – each of which begins to infect his mind. The film stars Anthony T. Solano (“Blue Bloods”), Eva Isanta (“Amarillo”), and Silvia Casanova (“May God Save Us”).
