Bram Stokers Dracula

Leading the pack of horror titles available this month is Francis Ford Coppola’s 1992 feature film adaptation of the classic vampire novel “Dracula.” Gary Oldman (“The Professional”) stars as the titular Dracula, a 15th-century prince condemned to live off the blood of the living for eternity. Dracula begins a reign of terror and seduction to reunite with his lost love, Mina. Winona Ryder (“Heathers”) and Anthony Hopkins (“The Silence of the Lambs”) also stars.

Santastein

Those in need of some ho-ho-horror this holiday season need look no further than “Santastein,” a film about a boy who accidentally burns Santa to a crisp and then tries to resurrect him 12 years later in an effort to to fix his past mistakes and restore the Christmas spirit. The film stars Fletcher Hammond (“Doom Patrol”), Michael Vitovich (“Average Joe”), and Brian D. Long (“A Missed Connection”).

#AMFAD All My Friends Are Dead

“#AMFAD,” which stands for All My Friends Are Dead, follows a group of college friends who land tickets to the most hotly anticipated music festival of the year. However, their weekend of bands and parties takes an unexpected turn when they are forced to take a detour to an out-of-the-way Airbnb. “AMFAD” stars Jade Pettyjohn (“Little Fires Everywhere”), JoJo Siwa (“School of Rock”), and Jennifer Ens (“Chapelwaite”).

Silent Hill: Revelation

Adelaide Clemens (“Under the Banner of Heaven”) stars as Heather Mason, a young woman plagued by terrifying nightmares, who discovers her true identity and is drawn into the demonic world of Silent Hill. As she confronts the town’s horrors, she must unravel the mysteries of her past and save her father from the cult that seeks to control her destiny.

An American Werewolf In London

This John Landis horror classic tells of two American college students backpacking through England who are attacked by a werewolf. One is killed, and the other, David (David Naughton, “Detroit Rock City”), is severely injured. As he recovers in a London hospital, David is haunted by disturbing dreams of his dead friend and begins to realize a horrifying truth: he is becoming a werewolf himself. With the next full moon approaching, David must confront his monstrous transformation and decide whether to embrace his fate or end his own life. It also stars Jenny Agutter (“Logan’s Run”) and Griffin Dunne (“After Hours”).

Stir of Echoes

Kevin Bacon stars in this 1999 horror film as Tom Witzky, a blue-collar man living in Chicago with his pregnant wife Maggie (Kathryn Erbe, “What About Bob?”) and their young son Jake. At a party, Tom’s sister-in-law, Lisa (Illeana Douglas, “To Die For”), hypnotizes him, and he awakens to a series of disturbing visions of a missing teenage neighbor named Samantha. As Tom delves deeper into Samantha’s disappearance, he begins to uncover a dark secret that threatens his family and his sanity.

Lake Placid

In “Lake Placid,” a giant crocodile terrorizes a small town in Maine, forcing a group of unlikely heroes, including a local game warden, a paleontologist, and a quirky crocodile enthusiast, to band together to stop the deadly creature before it can claim more victims.

Cube

In “Cube,” seven strangers of widely varying personality characteristics are involuntarily placed in a vast, seemingly endless maze of identical, cube-shaped rooms. Each room is potentially deadly, armed with various traps triggered by specific patterns or sequences. As they navigate this labyrinth, they must rely on their diverse skills and knowledge to decipher the puzzle, avoid the lethal traps, and ultimately escape the enigmatic Cube. The film stars Nicole de Boer (“Star Trek: Deep Space Nine”), Maurice Dean Wint (“Haven”), and David Hewlett (“The Shape of Water”).

The Crazies

In “The Crazies,” residents of a picture-perfect Midwestern town begin to succumb to an uncontrollable urge for violence when a mysterious toxin in the water supply turns everyone exposed to it into mindless killers. It’s a nightmarish struggle for survival in this tense remake of the 1973 George Romero film of the same name.

The Golem

Set in a Jewish community in 17th century Lithuanian, which is ravaged by a deadly plague, “The Golem” follows Hanna (Hani Furstenberg, “American Gods”), a desperate woman who turns to ancient texts and forbidden magic to create a Golem, a creature of clay and mystical energy, to protect her people from a hostile Christian mob. As the Golem grows in power, it becomes a force of both protection and destruction, blurring the lines between savior and monster. Hanna must confront the terrifying consequences of her creation and make a heart-wrenching choice to save her community. Ishai Golan (“Prisoners of War”) and Adi Kvetner (“Berlin Station”) also star.

Open Water

In “Open Water,” a couple on a scuba diving vacation in the Caribbean are accidentally left behind by their tour boat. Stranded in shark-infested waters, they must fight for survival against the elements and the ever-present threat of marine predators. The film stars Blanchard Ryan (“Orange is the New Black”), Daniel Travis (“Dexter”), and Saul Stein (“Money Train”).

The Lake

In “The Lake,” a gigantic, bloodthirsty monster emerges from a lake and unleashes its fury on a small town, leaving a trail of destruction in its wake. The town’s inhabitants and a group of scientists must band together to stop the creature before it’s too late. “The Lake” stars Chartchai Ketnust (“The Mother”), Sushar Manaying (“The Couple”), and Vithaya Pansringarm (“The Last Executioner”).
