On Monday, I shared with you that the General Mills Monsters were getting a new cereal and new marshmallows with Monsters’ Frightful Friends. While not officially announced, information about the cereal is publicly available through various grocery sites, and as I fell down the Monster Cereals internet rabbit hole, I uncovered the rest of this year’s lineup.
In addition to the new Monsters’ Frightful Friends cereal, which looks to be replacing last year’s Monster Mash Remix, Boo Berry, Count Chocula, Franken Berry, and Carmella Creeper, will again each get their own individual cereal releases. Each box will feature your favorite monster cereal and incorporate each monster’s monster pet marshmallows.
My research found that Boo Berry, Count Chocula, and Franken Berry will be available in 16oz Family Size boxes as well as standard 9.3oz boxes. For now, I’m only seeing Carmella Creeper in 9.3oz boxes. Check out the all-new packaging featuring your favorite cereal monsters and their new pets below:
Again, General Mills has not officially announced this year’s lineup, but if they follow last year’s trends, I imagine we’ll get something official in the next month or so, and boxes could start showing up on store shelves as early as July.
