Hit Vampire Survival Game ‘V Rising’ Arriving on PlayStation 5 in June

Swedish game developer Stunlock Studios has announced that the PlayStation 5 version of their open-world fantasy survival Action-RPG “V Rising” will arrive on the PlayStation 5 on June 11, with pre-orders starting today. The announcement follows the highly successful May 8 1.0 launch of “V Rising” on Steam, which was met with a hugely positive reception from both critics and the growing community of players.

PlayStation 5 owners can finally sink their teeth into “V Rising” in its final form. Step into the shoes of a newly awakened vampire, construct your gothic castle, and explore an open world teeming with danger with seven regions to explore and 57 bosses to best. Hunt for blood alone or unite with a clan, battling alongside fellow vampires online. Rise in power and face the ancient tyrant Dracula himself in a showdown of epic proportions to rule the night.

Partnering with Sony and with additional support from Auroch Digital, Stunlock Studios has focused on creating optimal PlayStation 5 gameplay with UI improvements, as well as DualSense game controller support.

The standard edition of the game is available for pre-order for $39.99, and the Castlevania Edition and Complete Edition are also available for pre-order for $59.99 and $99.99, respectively.

The Castlevania Edition includes the base game and the Legacy of Castlevania Premium Pack cosmetic DLC, released as part of the Legacy of Castlevania event in “V Rising.” The thrilling collaboration between Stunlock Studios and Konami brings legendary vampire hunter Simon Belmont into the game along with his iconic whip. The DLC gives players access to “Castlevania” cosmetics that allow them to decorate their castles with looks inspired by the classic gothic aesthetic of the video game franchise, along with character customization options inspired by classic “Castlevania” characters. You can even set the tone in your ominous abode with two classic “Castlevania” themes reimagined by “V Rising” composer Aleksandria Migova.

Alternatively, the “V Rising” Complete Edition contains all cosmetic packs currently available in the game, which includes the Eldest Bloodlines Pack, the Dracula’s Relics Pack, the Sinister Evolution Pack, and the Legacy of Castlevania Pack.

Both the Castlevania Edition and Complete Edition bundles will offer players the ability to play the game as early as June 6 when pre-ordered.
