Monday, May 27, was Vincent Price’s birthday. The horror icon known for “The Last Man On Earth,” “House On Haunted Hill,” and, of course, as the creepy voice in Halloween playlist staple “Thriller,” would have been 113. In celebration of his birthday, NECA unveiled a new Ultimate action figure of the actor.
The seven-inch scale figure celebrates the various facets of Price’s career as an actor on stage, radio, and screen, as well as an art historian and gourmet cook. The figure comes complete with three interchangeable heads and neckties to mix and match his iconic looks throughout the years. And plenty of spooky accessories to boot, including interchangeable hands, a raven with an alternate “perch” forearm, a skull, a black cat, a candlestick, a teacup and saucer, cigarettes, a cookbook, and a stack of records.
The Ultimat Vincent Price action figure comes in collector-friendly, Ultimate five-panel window box packaging and is estimated to ship in September of this year. The figure is available for pre-order from Entertainment Earth for $36.99.
