Last month, CandyStore.com shared its 2019 list of top Halloween candy by state, but this week ratings and review platform Influenster got into the mix to share its own list of Halloween candy favorites by state in an all-new infographic.
While CandyStore.com used its own sales data and data provided by some of the nation’s most popular candy manufacturers, Influenster tapped into its 40 million product reviews written by nearly six million members. From Sour Patch Kids to Skittles, M&M’s to Mounds, and Kit Kat to Crunch Bars, the infographic explores the most-reviewed candies based on the assessment of nearly one million candy reviews.
To determine its annual list, Influenster pulled the most-reviewed candies on the platform overall, broke down this review data by state, and then normalized said review count based on each state’s population size on the platform. Check out the results below:
Interestingly there isn’t a single state where both Influenster and CandyStore.com feature the same top candy in a state. When I posted the CandyStore.com map, some people took issue with the top candy for their state. Do you feel the Influenster map more closely aligns?
