Distortions Unlimited is off to a strong start in 2024, with four new Halloween props already released and a fifth unveiled on Tuesday. Earlier today, the Halloween prop and animatronic maker introduced Frankenstein’s Experiment, a new animatronic inspired by the monster described in Mary Shelley’s “Frankenstein.”
The new high-impact animatronic is a towering seven feet tall and was sculpted by Greg Kykstra. Each animatronic is hand-painted and includes audio, fog, and lights. The animatronic features an ambient program that runs continuously until it’s triggered. Once triggered, the monster shakes and convulses as it comes to life before thrusting forward to deliver the perfect jump scare. Frankenstein’s Experiment comes with push button activation but can be connected to your own motion activation, timer, or pressure pad.
