I’m personally indifferent to candy corn, but over the years the Halloween treat has developed quite the reputation for being gross and according to a recent CandyStore.com survey, it looks like it is, in fact, the WORST Halloween candy.
To determine the best and worst candy of 2019, CandyStore.com used data from 12 different lists including lists created by BuzzFeed, Business Insider, the Huffington Post and more. Then they combined those lists with data from their own survey of over 30,000 customers and put together the ultimate list of best and worst candies in 2019.
According to the 2019 data, Candy Corn is the WORST Halloween candy, a title previously held by Circus Peanuts. It’s ok though Candy Corn, you’re still a favorite in Nevada, Idaho, North Dakota, and Iowa according to CandyStore.com’s other survey that explored the most popular candy by state. So, for 2019 the people who hate Candy Corn can hold their heads high knowing that, at least for now, their belief that Candy Corn is the worst Halloween candy is somewhat validated by this latest data.
