They say good things come to those who wait and for those of you who’ve been holding out for Starbucks to announce the return of the Pumpkin Spice Latte, that announcement came in the form of a tweet on Tuesday, announcing the popular drinks return.
It’s official. PSL returns 8/27! pic.twitter.com/8l1pAfBNQe

Despite the official launch being the earliest in Starbucks history, the coffee maker won’t be the first to release their pumpkin-flavored drinks for the season. That title goes to 7-Eleven who released their pumpkin spice drinks on August 13. Dunkin’ officially launched their fall menu items today, beating out Starbucks by about a week.
Rumors had been circulating for a few weeks that 8/27 would be the magic date, but this is the first Starbucks has officially confirmed the drink release date. No other details around fall offerings have been announced.
With the Starbucks announcement officially out of the way, the only thing pumpkin spice lovers have left look forward to this season is the release of Pumpkin Spice SPAM. 🤣
