In June, I shared that Jada Toys was developing a series of new Universal Monsters figures. The new figures of Dracula, Frankenstein’s Monster, The Creature from the Black Lagoon, and Bride of Frankenstein were uncovered via Italian toys and collectibles distributor Cosmic Group. At the time of the story, it was unclear if the figures would be available in the U.S., but this week we learned that the figures are now available via Entertainment Earth.
Each new six-inch scale figure is inspired by the classic Universal Monsters films, though unlike the Universal Monsters Ultimate Figures from NECA, they do not carry the actor’s likeness. Each figure features multiple points of articulation and comes with two portraits, two sets of hands, and accessories themed to the character.
The Universal Monsters Creature from the Black Lagoon 6-Inch Scale Action Figure comes with a harpoon gun and net.
The Universal Monsters Bride of Frankenstein 6-Inch Scale Action Figure comes with restraint accessories and features a cloth gown.
The Universal Monsters Frankenstein 6-Inch Scale Action Figure comes with two pairs of shackles.
And finally, the Universal Monsters Dracula 6-Inch Scale Action Figure comes with candelabra and bat accessories, along with a cloth cape.
Each new figure comes packaged in a window box and costs $24.99. The new Universal Monsters figures are expected to ship in October 2021. Each figure is available for pre-order from Entertainment Earth at the links below:
