On Wednesday, A24 released the official trailer for its upcoming horror comedy, “Death of a Unicorn.”
Written and directed by Alex Scharfman, “Death of a Unicorn” stars Paul Rudd (“Ant-Man”) and Jenna Ortega (“Wednesday”) as a father and daughter who accidentally hit and kill a unicorn while en route to a weekend retreat where his billionaire boss (Richard E. Grant, “Can You Ever Forgive Me”) seeks to exploit the creature’s miraculous curative properties. But as we see in the trailer, they soon discover that as promising as this discovery may be, it comes at a cost, and now a bigger, more terrifying unicorn is out for revenge.
Will Poulter (“Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3”) and Tรฉa Leoni (“Madam Secretary”) also star in this dark comedy, which will be released in theatres in spring 2025.
