On Thursday, Netflix released the first teaser for its live-action “Resident Evil” series, but the streaming service quickly followed its release with a second teaser on Friday.
While the first teaser focuses on the film’s main protagonist, Jade Wesker, the second teaser focuses more on the T-virus’s origins and the horrors it creates.
“Resident Evil” arrives on Netflix on July 14 and tells an all-new story in the “Resident Evil” universe set nearly three decades after discovering the T-virus.
The series stars Lance Reddick (“John Wick”) as Albert Wesker, along with Ella Balinska (“Charlie’s Angles”), Tamara Smart (“A Babysitters Guide to Monster Hunting”), Siena Agudong (“No Good Nick”), Adeline Rudolph (“Chilling Adventures of Sabrina”), and Paola Nuñez (“Bad Boys for Life”).
