Midsummer Scream announced today a special Hocus Pocus 25th anniversary panel set to take place during this year’s Midsummer Scream weekend.
We Put A Spell On You: Celebrating 25 Years of “Hocus Pocus” will celebrate the 25th anniversary of the 1993 Walt Disney Pictures film Hocus Pocus. The panel will feature the film’s producer David Kirschner, screenwriter Mick Garris and special guests, for a conversation about the making of the film and its legacy as a Halloween tradition. The panel will take place on Sunday, July 29 at 3:00 p.m. in the Grand Ballroom of the Long Beach Convention Center and will be moderated by Jeff DePaoli, the host of the podcast “Dizney Coast to Coast.”
This year’s Midsummer Scream is turning out to be quite the Disneyfest, as earlier this month the summer Halloween convention announced that actress Kimberly J. Brown, most known for her role as Marnie in the Disney Channel Halloweentown movies, would also be on hand for this year’s event for special private photo opportunities.
