On Tuesday, gothic fashion brand La Femme En Noir announced its latest collaboration inspired by a Tim Burton film. Last year they teamed up with Paramount Pictures to release a collection inspired by Burton’s film “Sleepy Hollow,” and on Friday, they released a collection inspired by his stop motion animated film “Corpse Bride.”
In an Instagram post announcing the new collection, La Fem En Noir shared that the collection “features beautiful ethereal pieces inspired by this whimsical animated film.”
The new collection, which arrived exclusively on https://lafemmeennoir.net/ Friday morning, features 18 pieces inspired by the characters of the film. The collaboration gives 19th-century Victorian fashion a modern-day revival all while staying true to the style and whimsy of the film.
Headlining the collection is an Emily bag, which features the face and likeness of the corpse bride herself, Emily. The bag costs $92 and is available for pre-order now with a March 2022 estimated arrival date.
Other highlights from the collection include a celestial blue Emily Butterfly gown, a gender-bent series of pieces inspired by the character Victor, and the Gothic Tales skirt featuring the “Beyond the Veil” print, which can be seen below:
The view collection is available for pre-order now on the La Femme en Noir website with varying price points and estimated arrival dates.
