Thanks to a new deal between Shout! Factory and Laika, we’ll soon be getting new collectible home releases of both Coraline and ParaNorman.
The releases are part of a multi-year home entertainment distribution deal allowing Shout! to release the animation studio’s first four films, including Kubo and the Two Strings, The Boxtrolls, ParaNorman, and Coraline in the US. According to Deadline, the offerings will include new bonus content, collectible packaging, and specialty releases, which are currently in development.
“We’re incredibly excited about this new opportunity with LAIKA and look forward to presenting these beloved films with enlightening extras and lavish packaging to fans and collectors everywhere,” said Melissa Boag, Shout’s Senior Vice President of Family Entertainment.
Shout! Factory and LAIKA are expected to announce further details around the releases in the coming months.
