On Friday, Halloween and horror mask and collectibles maker Trick or Treat Studios announced that 2023 would mark the end of over a dozen horror licenses they had made products around over the last several years. With the licenses expiring, Trick or Treat Studios will not be doing any more product runs, meaning this is your last chance to get your hands on Trick or Treat Studios products based on these iconic franchises.
Trick or Treat Studios will not be renewing its licenses for the following horror properties past 2023:
- The “Chucky” franchise
- “Halloween II”
- “Halloween III: Season of the Witch”
- Universal Studios Classic Monsters
- “The Black Phone”
- “The Purge” franchise
- “They Live”
- “Dead Silence”
- “Freaky”
- “The Munsters”
- “Nope”
- “Us”
- “An American Werewolf In London”
- “JAWS”
- Peter Jackson’s “King Kong”
Any products from these licenses are now in their last run and will not be available in 2024. There are over 300 last-chance products on the Trick or Treat Studios website, but Trick or Treat Studios has warned that inventory for many of these items is limited. As of this writing, many items had already sold out.
