Earlier this year, LEGO released its first wave of Hidden Side building sets, the unique series of LEGO sets mixes LEGO bricks with an augmented reality app to generate an all-new play experience for kids. This week, LEGO announced six new Hidden Side building sets that include some spooky new locales from the fictional LEGO town of Newbury.
The announcement came with a press release about a new neuroscientific study that found that physical-digital game concepts like LEGO® Hidden Side ™ make children more creative. Check out the new sets, which will be available shortly after the holidays, below:
LEGO® Hidden Side ™ Newbury Underground Station
Together with Jack, Parker and the roving Pete Peterson, explore the interactive subway model for a fantastic augmented reality experience. The free LEGO® Hidden Side ™ app transforms the model into a mysterious portal, waiting for exciting adventures in a digital game world.
