With San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) cancelled this year, toymakers are looking for new virtual outlets to release their 2020 convention exclusives. While some vendors like Super7 and Factory Entertainment have announced their own virtual conventions, others are turning to Walmart’s first-ever Collector Con to release the highly coveted assortment of SDCC collectibles.
Earlier this month, NECA announced that its Comic-Con Exclusive Ultimate Summer Games Gremlin Figure would be released at Walmart, and this weekend Walmart launched an entire page filled with convention exclusive pre-orders from McFarlane, Mondo, Star Wars, Marvel, Transformers and more. But the one item All Hallows Geek fans will likely most be interested in is the limited edition Black & White Pennywise Q-fig from Quantum Mechanix.
Exclusive to Walmart and limited to an edition size of 1,000 pieces, the black and white figure is a variant on the IT: Chapter Two Pennywise Q-Fig that was announced late last year. The figure is available for pre-order now through Walmart.com for $29.96 and is expected to arrive by September 21.
