‘Locke and Key’ Renewed for Second Season at Netflix

Netflix’s adaptation of the Joe Hill comic book series “Locke and Key” has been renewed for a second season. The news came earlier this morning via social media with an animated teaser.

The show’s second season will continue to follow the adventures of the Locke children as they grow into their role as the new Keepers of the Keys.

Season one of “Locke & Key” premiered on Netflix back in February and starred Darby Stanchfield (“Scandal”), Jackson Robert Scott (IT), Connor Jessup (“American Crime”), Emilia Jones (Horrible Histories: The Movie), Bill Heck (The Ballad of Buster Scruggs), Laysla De Oliveira, Thomas Mitchell Barnet, Griffin Gluck (American Vandal), and Coby Bird.

The series tells the story of the Locke siblings who move into their ancestral home following the mysterious murder of their father. There they discover a family secret and a number of mysterious keys with unique abilities that they as the Keepers of the Keys will need to protect from a recently awakened demon.
