‘M3GAN,’ ‘Annabelle,’ and ‘Ma’ Returning to Theaters for Blumhouse’s Halfway to Halloween

Blumhouse has announced that three iconic horror films will return to theaters for special one-night-only engagements for the company’s annual Halfway to Halloween celebration.

The Halfway to Halloween fun will kick off with the return of “M3GAN” on April 30, 2025. The film will return to theaters with an exclusive Movie Mate second-screen experience featuring exclusive content, trivia, and behind-the-scenes information during the film.

“M3GAN” tells the story of robotics engineer Gemma (Allison Williams), who, after becoming the guardian of her orphaned niece, Cady (Violet McGraw), thinks her new invention, a robotic AI, will be a good companion. However, M3GAN begins to behave in unexpected and shocking ways.

The film returns to theaters just two months beforeย its sequel’s premiere.

Then, on May 7, Blumhouse is shifting gears from AI dolls to a more analog doll with the return of “Annabelle” to theaters. The 2014 film tells of a couple who begin to experience terrifying supernatural occurrences involving a vintage doll shortly after satanic cultists invade their home.

Finally, the 2019 Blumhouse horror “Ma” will return to theaters on May 14. Octavia Spencer stars as a lonely woman who befriends a group of teenagers and decides to let them party at her house. When the kids think their luck couldn’t get any better, things start happening that make them question the intention of their host.
