On Wednesday, Mattel Creations Unveiled its next Monster High Skullector Doll and it’s an ode to the classic vampire from Universal Pictures’ 1931 film “Dracula.”
The Dracula Monster High Skullector doll comes outfitted in the classic tuxedo, medallion, and cape — just like Dracula in the film. The doll’s color palette is predominantly black and white but has pops of blood-red for the doll’s eyes, lips, cape, and medallion. But the homage to the Universal classic doesn’t end with the doll. The designers kept the packaging in black and white, just like the 1931 film, and added little details that harken back to the film. For instance, the spider web that frames the doll in the packaging says, “I am Dracula, I bid you welcome,” a quote lifted directly from the film.
The Dracula Monster High Skullector doll will cost $65 and be released on Friday, June 3 at 9 AM PT at creations.mattel.com.
