Late last month, we learned that “MaXXXine” would be getting a physical and digital release in October. Now, Max has announced that the final chapter of Ti West’s “X” trilogy will also debut on HBO and be available to stream exclusively on Max in the U.S.
The film will be available to stream starting on Friday, October 18, 2024, and will make its linear debut on Saturday, October 19, at 8:00 PM ET/PT on HBO.
“MaXXXine” takes place in 1980s Hollywood, as adult film star and aspiring actress Maxine Minx finally gets her big break. But as a mysterious killer stalks Hollywood’s starlets, a trail of blood threatens to reveal her sinister past.
The film stars Mia Goth as Maxine Minx, along with Elizabeth Debicki (“Tenet”), Moses Sumney (“Creed”), Michelle Monaghan (“Mission: Impossible”), Bobby Cannavale (“Ant-Man”), Halsey, Lily Collins (“Emily in Paris”), with Giancarlo Esposito (“Breaking Bad”) and Kevin Bacon (“Stir of Echoes”).
