It’s been two years since we’ve heard any major news around Mezco Toyz’s Living Dead Dolls. The toymaker celebrated the brand’s 20th anniversary in 2018 with the release of a special 20th anniversary series of dolls, which included five mystery dolls. Over the last couple of years, there have been a number of LDD Presents dolls, like the recently announced Elvira doll, but no true Living Dead Dolls releases since.
Over the weekend, Mezco announced via a short teaser video that Living Dead Dolls will be returning in 2021. A 2021 release would mark the 36th series from Living Dead Dolls. Further details were not unveiled, but Mezco has historically debuted new Living Dead Dolls during New York Toy Fair, which is scheduled to take place in May of 2021. Check out the teaser below:
