Over the last couple of years, Mezco Toyz has been mixing some of horror’s most vile villains with the innocence of childhood with their Burst-A-Box line, which mixes pop culture with the jack-in-the-box. Past characters have included Friday’ the 13th‘s Jason Voorhees, Chucky from the Child’s Play franchise, Trick ‘r Treat‘s Sam, and most recently Freddy Krueger from A Nightmare On Elm Street. Today, Mezco opened up pre-orders for an all-new Burst-A-Box featuring Billy the puppet from Saw.
The Saw Burst-A-Box features Billy – the mechanical puppet often used by John Kramer, better known as the Jigsaw Killer.
Approximately 14″ tall when “popped”, the Burst-A-Box is a finely detailed tin music box that encases a detailed sculpt and clothed spring character. Billy features a threatening glare and sports his signature tuxedo and bowtie.
