Midsummer Scream, the world’s largest Halloween convention, canceled its annual event for 2021 event due to COVID-19, but that’s not stopping them from celebrating the spirit of Halloween this summer. On Tuesday, the Halloween and horror convention announced Awaken the Spirits! an all-new pop-up experience taking place at the Pasadena Convention Center.
The all-new event will feature more than 200 spooky vendors, live entertainment, and presentation stages where news and infromation regarding the upcoming Halloween season will be announced from groups inlcuding LA Haunted Hayride, Delusion, Six Flags Magic Mountain’s Fright Fest, and Winchester Mystery House, with more to be announced.
The event takes place August 14-15, 2021, and tickets to the event will go on sale tomorrow, June 16, at midsummerscream.org.
