Ministry Performs (Everyday Is) Halloween Live for the First Time In Over 30 Years

Al Jourgensen with Dave Navarro performing (Everyday Is) Halloween at The Fonda Theatre in Los Angeles

If ever there was an anthem for the year-round Halloween lover, in my opinion, it would be Ministry’s “(Everyday Is) Halloween.” The B-side to the 1984 single “All Day” is a goth club classic and often a favorite among Halloween lovers. On Thursday, at the Fonda Theatre in Los Angeles, fans were treated to a special acoustic performance of the song, which hasn’t been played live in over 30 years.

For the performance, frontman Al Jourgensen invited Jane’s Addiction guitarist Dave Navarro to join the band on stage and while Jourgensen claimed during the performance it was the first time the song was ever performed live. A live performance of the song is actually on the Ministry live album “Toronto 1986.” The song was also performed a number of times during the bands 1984 Wax Trax! Singles Tour.
