Nickelodeon has shared its plans for San Diego Comic-Con 2022 and as part of the network’s 1,800-square-foot immersive experience, fans will be able to explore the hallways of Monster High with a “Monster High: The Movie” experience.
The immersive “Monster High: The Movie” activation hopes to build anticipation for the upcoming live-action movie musical based on the iconic Monser High franchise about the children of famous monsters and creatures. Beneath the 22-foot tall clock tower, compete against the clock to match objects to lockers designed with each character in mind. Correctly place objects in their respective lockers before time runs out!
Nickelodeon and the “Monster High: The Movie” experience will be at booth #4113 on the convention center floor during Comic-Con International: San Diego 2022, July 21-24.
“Monster High: The Movie” is a live-action movie musical based on the iconic Monster High franchise about the children of famous monsters and creatures. The film follows Clawdeen Wolf (Miia Harris, “Just Beyond”), born half human and half werewolf, after arriving at her new school, Monster High. She quickly makes friends with her classmates Frankie Stein (Ceci Balagot, “Dispatches from Elsewhere”) and Draculaura (Nayah Damasen, “Grey’s Anatomy”), and for the first time in her life, Clawdeen feels like she has finally found a place where she fits in and can truly be herself, despite keeping her human half a secret. When a devious plan to destroy Monster High threatens to reveal her real identity, Clawdeen must learn to embrace her true monster heart and find a way to save the day alongside her new friends.
“Monster High: The Movie” premieres Thursday, October 6, at 7 p.m. (ET/PT) on Nickelodeon and streams that same day on Paramount+. The movie will encore on Nickelodeon on Friday, October 7, and Saturday, October 8, at 7 p.m. (ET/PT).
