Over the last four days, Diamond Select Toys has been slowly unveiling what it’s referring to as “San Diego 2021 Exclusives.” These are toys that would have been released at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, which unfortunately was canceled for 2021 due to COVID-19. On Tuesday, Diamond Select Toys unveiled its “The Nightmare Before Christmas” Deluxe Action Figure Box Set. Today, it unveiled another “The Nightmare Before Christmas” San Diego 2021 Exclusive with the unveiling of its San Diego 2021 Nightmare Before Christmas Minimates Commemorative Gift Set.
The new gift set features six “The Nightmare Before Christmas” Minimates based on the classic Tim Burton stop-motion film. This exclusive gift set features Jack Skellington with his ghost dog Zero, Sally, the Mayor, the Wolfman, Behemoth, and the Clown with the Tearaway Face, all packaged in a hexagonal display that shows off a different character on each side. Each 2-inch Minimates mini-figure features multiple points of articulation and fully interchangeable parts.
The San Diego 2021 Nightmare Before Christmas Minimates Commemorative Gift Set is limited to an edition size of 1,000 and is available for pre-order now through Entertainment Earth or wherever you buy your favorite Diamond Select Toys. This exclusive new set is expected to ship sometime in August.
