The latest entry into the public domain horror subgenre has arrived with “Mouseboat Massacre.”
Directed by Andrea M. Catinella (“Piglet”), the film follows a young woman battling a drug addiction who suddenly begins to see a mutated mouse-human hybrid that infests her life. But as things intensify, those around her begin to drop like flies.
“Mouseboat Massacre” features Jay Robertson (“Peter Pan’s Neverland Nightmare”), Kathi DeCouto (“War of the Worlds: The Attack”), Atlanta Moreno, Lauren Leppard (“Psych”), Victor Rios (“Aaja Mexico Challiye”), and Natasha Tosini (“Winnie-the-Pooh: Bloody & Honey”).
“This is balls to the wall mayhem. We have really gone for the gore in this movie and think audiences will be very pleased with how nasty the mouse can be,” says Producer Rene August. “One death features an actual literal human-sized mouse trap killing someone and a cheese grater/knife hybrid as the mouse’s weapon of choice!”
“Mouseboat Massacre” is the latest film from ITN Studios, the independent studio that gave us other public domain horror titles like “Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood & Honey” and its sequel.
“Mouseboat Massacre” is now available through Video on Demand on Amazon.
