This week, NECA announced another set of black-and-white variants of its Universal Monsters x Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles figures, which reimagine the heroes in a half shell as some of your favorite classic Universal monsters.
The black-and-white turtles are being released as a four-pack, with Raphael as Frankenstein’s Monster, Michelangelo as the Mummy, Donatello as the Invisible Man, and Leonardo as the Creature from the Black Lagoon. Like the original releases, these variants come fully loaded with accessories, including extra hands, alternate heads, and weapons.
The set comes in collector-friendly window box packaging featuring artwork from artist Daniel Horne. The figures are available for pre-order now for $147.99 and are expected to ship in September.
This is the second set of figures released in the black & white deco. Earlier this summer, NECA released black & white variants of Leonardo as The Hunchback and Raphael as the Wolf Man as a Walmart exclusive 2-pack.
NECA debuted its Universal Monsters x Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles line in 2021 and has since released over a dozen figures that combine two of the toymaker’s biggest licensed properties.
