On Tuesday, NECA announced The Creature from the Black Lagoon as its next Universal Monsters Ultimate figure. The figure was first unveiled during NECA’s 12 Days of Downloads event last December but did not have a release date tied to it.
The seven-inch scale figure is inspired by the Creature’s appearance in Universal’s 1954 film “The Creature from the Black Lagoon.” The figure comes with three extra pairs of hands, and three interchangeable head sculpts and comes packaged in display-friendly window box packaging with a front flap that opens.
The new figure is available for pre-order now from Entertainment Earth for $34.99 and is expected to ship this September. The Creature will also be receiving a black-and-white release at a later date.
