Since 1977 The Misfits have brought an iconic mix of horror and punk rock to music fans around the globe. But what’s possibly even more iconic than their music is the band’s mascot, “The Fiend.” This week collectible toymaker NECA announced the iconic character would be getting the Ultimate figure treatment.
The seven-inch figure of The Fiend comes dressed in a flowing black robe and comes with a slew of accessories that include a Misfits tombstone, a pair of daggers, a candelabra, and Misfits records “Horror Business,” “Earth A.D.,” and “Die Die My Darling.” The figure will come with two pairs of interchangeable hands and three interchangeable heads, including one that recreates the highly stylized version rendered in artwork painted by the late Basil Gogos.
The new figure is available for pre-order now through Entertainment Earth for $34.99 and is expected to ship in August of 2023.
