NECA has been showing love to fans of the silver screen ever since it debuted its Ultimate Frankenstein’s Monster figure in 2021. This figure was released in a black-and-white motif in celebration of the 90th anniversary of Universal’s “Frankenstein.” Since then, several other Universal Monsters Ultimate figures have been released in the color motif, and NECA has even released black-and-white variants of its Universal Monsters x Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle line. Now, NECA has announced Silver Screen editions of an assortment of its Toony Terrors figures.
Toony Terrors is the collectible toy line stylized to look like some of your favorite horror characters were pulled from Saturday morning cartoons. Past releases Count Orlok, Vincent Price, Vampira, and the “They Live” alien are all getting a Silver Screen release, with each stylized figure in a new greyscale deco. Each figure comes in special black-and-white packaging with a cutout backdrop and silver foil logo.
The new figures are already shipping to Target stores, with additional retailers to receive the figures soon.
