On Friday, NECA announced two new figures based on M3GAN, the Model 3 Generative Android from the film “M3GAN.”
The first figure announced is a new eight-inch-scale clothed action figure of M3GAN arriving first at Best Buy. The new figure stands approximately five inches tall and is fully articulated. M3GAN comes in tailored clothing similar to the retro toy lines that helped define the licensed action figure market in the 1970s. Accessories include interchangeable faceplates and hands, a paper cutter, and a screwdriver. The figure is available for pre-order from Best Buy for $34.99 and is expected to be released on December 7.
The second M3GAN figure announced is part of Target’s Fall Geek Out, an annual collector’s event in the fall that features new and exclusive collectibles. The seven-inch-scale articulated action figure brings M3GAN to NECA’s Ultimate line and is made to match her on-screen appearance. M3GAN comes with several accessories, including interchangeable heads and hands, a screwdriver, a nail gun, a hammer, and two paper cutter blades (one clean, one bloodied).
An exact release for the figure was not announced, but new drops for Target’s Fall Geek Out continue on Fridays at 8 AM CT through October 4. For the latest reveals, check out Target’s Collector’s Spot.
Both M3GAN action figure releases are retailer firsts, meaning these figures will be exclusive to Best Buy and Target before being made more widely available.
