In April, NECA announced that Wolf Man, The Mummy, and Dracula would be joining Frankenstein in its Universal Monsters Ultimate figures line. On Sunday, during the final reveal of its 31 Nights of Fright product reveal event, NECA released the first image of its Dracula figure.
Working with Lugosi LLC, the figure is inspired by and features the likeness of the iconic Count famously portrayed by actor Bela Lugosi in the 1931 Universal Studios classic.
Few other details were provided during the reveal. However, NECA did confirm that this version of the figure will be released sometime in early 2022. NECA confirmed to me previously that each figure in the Universal Monsters Ultimate line would also be getting a black and white variant to capture each character’s likeness on the silver screen. No details have been announced yet on when a black and white variant of Dracula might be released.
