NECA has been working on a new line of action figures based on the iconic Universal Monsters. The series includes both black and white and colorized versions of Frankenstein’s Monster, the Wolf Man, The Mummy, and Dracula. So far, the series has seen the release of the black and white and colorized versions of Frankenstein’s Monster and a colorized version of The Wolf Man. With the colorized version of Boris Karloff as The Mummy set to be released this month, NECA this week previewed the black and white variant of the figure, which will be released next year.
Set to coincide with the 90th anniversary of the silver-screen classic, the black and white version of NECA’s Ultimate Mummy figure includes all the same accessories as the colorized figure but in a black and white color scheme. The black and white version of the figure is scheduled to begin shipping in June of 2022 and is available for pre-order now through Entertainment Earth or wherever you buy NECA toys.
