Last month NECA teased Bruce the shark from Jaws as an upcoming Toony Terrors release by recreating the film’s poster with the figure and posting it on social media. Today, NECA gave fans a first look at what appears to be the final figure in a pair of new images.
Based on the images we now know that the upcoming release will not only feature Bruce the shark, but also the seasoned shark hunter Quint, who of course becomes a quick snack for the aquatic monster in the 1975 film.
The images show Bruce as a head and dorsal fin with Quint sporting machete and spear accessories. The posted images show the characters atop a themed background, though it is unclear if this is part of the final packaging or simply something used to stage the new figure’s photo. It’s also unclear if the figures would come with some sort of display stand for displaying the two piece Bruce the shark along with Quint.
Details on the figure’s release were limited to, “Coming in time for the beaches to open…” leading us to assume we’ll see the figure sometime this spring or early summer. Check out the images below!
