It looks as though The Phantom of the Opera is getting not one but two new figures from NECA. Earlier this week, we learned that Lon Chaney’s Phantom from 1925’s “The Phantom of the Opera” would be joining NECA’s Universal Monsters Ultimate line, and now NECA has teased Casey Jones as the Phantom as part of its growing line of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles x Universal Monsters figures.
Casey Jones is the hockey mask-wearing vigilante and ally to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The character’s signature hockey mask makes him the perfect candidate for the Phantom character. As you can see from the image teased by NECA, the collectible toymaker has done a fantastic job reimagining the mask for this crossover figure.
NECA’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles x Universal Monsters line marries two of the toymaker’s biggest licensed properties: Universal Monsters and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Working closely with Universal Brand Development and Viacom, the figures pay tribute to the world’s most famous turtles and iconic monsters.
