On Friday, NECA took to social media to unveil the series eight lineup for its Toony Terrors figures; the collectible toy line stylized to look like some of your favorite horror characters were pulled from Saturday morning cartoons. The new series of six-inch figures is slated to be released in August.
Captain Spaulding
Toony Terrors Captain Spaulding is inspired by his appearance in Rob Zombie’s “House of 1000 Corpses,” the Captain Spaulding figure comes holding a paper bag and a chicken leg and comes with an alternate head, which allows you to display the figure smiling or with a more somber face.
Vampira
Toony Terrors Vampira features the original late-night horror hostess outfitted in her signature black dress, blood-red fingernails, and the iconic hourglass figure that the horror icon was known. The figure will come with a skull accessory.
Svengoolie
First announced last October during NECA’s 31 Nights of Fright online product reveal event, Svengoolie, longtime Chicago horror host, will join the Toony Terrors lineup holding his signature rubber chicken.
