On Friday, as part of its ongoing Monster MAYhem online product reveal event, NECA unveiled two new Deluxe figures inspired by Michael Dougherty’s 2015 holiday horror film “Krampus.”
Deluxe Der Klown
The first figure unveiled is a Deluxe figure of Der Klown, the murderous jack-in-the-box featured in the film. This incredibly detailed new figure is over 10 inches long and features an articulated tail that ends in a jack-in-the-box complete with a hinged lid.
The figure also comes with various accessories, including three interchangeable mouth pieces with articulated mouth covers to let you display the figure with different menacing expressions seen in the film. Other accessories include an extra hand, interchangeable neck ruffles, a handkerchief, and Jordan’s legs, which plug into the monster’s large, open mouth to make it look like he’s devouring his naughty victim.
The Deluxe Der Klown comes in window box packaging featuring artwork from the Derk Klown jack-in-the-box, as seen in the film. The figure is now available for pre-order from Entertainment Earth for $69.99 and is expected to ship in October.
Deluxe Krampus
Of course, no “Krampus” toy reveal would be complete without an actual Krampus and NECA delivered. This October, NECA will unleash a seven-inch-scale Deluxe Krampus figure inspired by the holiday horror icon.
Looming over 10 inches tall, this incredibly detailed figure comes draped in real chains with padlocks hanging throughout, all meticulously crafted to replicate the character’s on-screen appearance. The figure also comes with a slew of accessories, including seven interchangeable hands, over 10 trinket accessories you can hang on his chains, the Krampus bell in a box, the Krampus bell in wrapping, and the iconic snow globe with the Engel’s family house inside. For an even more menacing touch, the figure also comes with two tongues, one of which has wire for posing.
The Krampus Deluxe seven-inch scale figure is now available for pre-order from Entertainment Earth for $99.99 and is expected to ship in October.
NECA’s Monster MAYhem event will continue throughout May, with new reveals every Friday and other exciting updates planned for May 13, 20, 27, and 29.
