On Tuesday, Netflix announced an expansion of the film that riveted audiences in 2018 with “Bird Box Barcelona.” The film, from the producers of “Bird Box,” will debut on Netflix on July 14.
Written and directed by Álex Pastor and David Pastor, “Bird Box Barcelona” tells the story of Sebastian, who, after a mysterious force decimates the world’s population, must navigate his survival journey through the desolate streets of Barcelona. As he forms uneasy alliances with other survivors and they try to escape the city, an unexpected and even more sinister threat grows.
“Bird Box Barcelona” stars Mario Casas, Georgina Campbell, Alejandra Howard, Naila Schubberth, Diego Calva, Patrick Criado, Lola Dueñas, Gonzalo De Castro, Michelle Jenner, and Leonardo Sbaraglia. Check out the announcement trailer below:
