This Halloween season, Netflix is celebrating “Stranger Things” with a special Halloween screening event in Los Angeles and the release of a new collaboration of Squishmallows.

Netflix & Chills: Stranger Things Celebration

This October, Netflix is hosting a screening series at the Egyptian Theater in Los Angeles featuring some of the films that inspired “Stranger Things.” The films were curated by the Duffer Brothers, the creators of “Stranger Things,” and include “Ghostbusters,” “The Thing,” “The Shining,” and “Poltergeist.”

At the evening screenings of “Ghostbusters” and “The Shining,” the first 50 guests to arrive will receive a special “Stranger Things” gift!

The screening series will conclude with a free, special fan event on Halloween. It will feature a screening of the “Stranger Things 2” Halloween episode: “Trick or Treat, Freak.” Fans will be invited to immerse themselves in the world of “Stranger Things” with photo ops, treats, free giveaways, and more.

The series begins on October 15, and tickets are now available on the Egyptian Theatre website.

Stranger Things Squishmallows Collaboration

Netflix has also announced a new collaboration featuring four brand new “Stranger Things”-inspired Squishmallows, including Max Mayfield, Vecna, Maui in a Surfer Boy Pizza Shirt, and Surfer Boy Pizza. The new Squishmallows join Eleven, the Demogorgon, and two Scoops Ahoy-inspired Squishmallows, which were released earlier this year and are available now at Walmart.
