Netflix Releases First Teaser for Mike Flanagan’s New Horror Series ‘The Midnight Club’

Netflix has released the first official teaser for Mike Flanagan’s new Netflix series “The Midnight Club.” The reveal came as part of Netflix’s Geeked Week, an online celebration of all things genre at Netflix.

The new series is based on the Christopher Pike book series of the same name and tells the story of the Midnight Club, a group of eight members that meet each night at midnight in a manor with a mysterious history to tell sinister stories – and to look for signs of the supernatural from the beyond.

The series stars some faces fans will recognize from Flanagan’s other Netflix series “Midnight Mass,” including Samantha Sloyan, Zach Gilford, Annarah Cymone, Igby Rigney, Matt Biedel, and Rahul Kohli, along with some new faces like Iman Benson (“BlackAF”), Ruth Codd, Aya Furukawa (“The Baby-Sitters Club”), Adia, Sauriyan Sapkota, and William Chris Sumpter.

Like other reveals from Geeked Week thus far, no premiere date was announced, but the series is expected to arrive on Netflix sometime in 2022.
