Netflix has announced the return of its hit series “Wednesday” with a new teaser trailer. The show’s second season will be split into two parts, with Part 1 premiering on August 6, 2025, and Part 2 on September 3.
Jenna Ortega returns as Wednesday Addams for a season that creators and executive producers Alfred Gough and Miles Millar are calling “darker and more complex.” In it, Wednesday must navigate family, friends, and old adversaries, propelling her into another year of delightfully dark and kooky mayhem. Armed with her signature razor-sharp wit and deadpan charm, Wednesday is also plunged into a new bone-chilling supernatural mystery.
Joining Ortega are returning cast members Emma Myers (Enid Sinclair), Joy Sunday (Bianca Barclay), Moosa Mostafa (Eugene), Georgie Farmer (Ajax), Dorobantu (Thing), and Hunter Doohan (Tyler Galpin).
Catherine Zeta-Jones (Morticia Addams), Luis Guzmรกn (Gomez Addams), Isaac Ordonez (Pugsley Addams), and Luyanda Unati Lewis-Nyawo (Deputy Ritchie Santiago) have all become series regulars. Jamie McShane (Sheriff Donovan Galpin) and Fred Armisen (Uncle Fester) will also return in guest-starring roles.
As Wednesday’s world expands, the series will also introduce several new series regulars, including: Steve Buscemi (“The Big Lebowski), Billie Piper (“Scoop”), Evie Templeton (“Return to Silent Hill”), Owen Painter (“Tiny Beautiful Things”), and Noah B. Taylor (“Law & Order: Organized Crime”).
You can also expect some new guest stars: “The Addams Family” actor Christopher Lloyd, Joanna Lumley (“Fool Me Once”), Thandiwe Newton (“Westworld”), Frances O’Connor (“The Missing”), Haley Joel Osment (“The Kominsky Method”), Heather Matarazzo (“Scream” franchise), and Joonas Suatamo will all appear.
“Wednesday” Season 2 will premiere with an episode titled “Here We Woe Again,” which is written by Gough and Millar, and directed by Tim Burton.
