“The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina,” the Netflix adaptation of the Archie Horror comics of the same name, is set to debut on October 26. Up until now, we’ve seen a few images from the show and some posters, but today Netflix dropped the first teaser for the show.
Titled “Happy Birthday,” the teaser gives us a glimpse into the dark world of Sabrina Spellman and emphasizes the importance of the young girl’s 16th birthday. If you’ve read the comics you know that on their 16th birthday, a witch gets to choose whether to head down the path of becoming a full-blown witch or choose a life without magic. Sabrina’s birthday also happens to be a fairly pivotal moment in the comics that have some lasting consequences.
