Netflix has released a trailer for a new series called “28 Days Haunted.” Beyond the trailer and synopsis, little is known about the new extreme paranormal reality series.
The synopsis of the series is:
Four adventurous teams of paranormal investigators will be hand-picked and given the chance to participate in the most extreme Paranormal experiment of all time. If any of these teams can last 28 days in a terrifying, haunted location, they’ll gain acclaim and recognition for being a part of the most important advancement in paranormal research in the last several decades.
The experiment referenced is one based on the theories of famed paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren. Tony Spera, a paranormal researcher and the son-in-law of the Warrens, is a consulting producer on the series and hosts alongside Aaron Sagers, a well-known celebrity in the paranormal field.
Some of the paranormal personalities tapped to live out the 28-day nightmare are Sean Austin, Shane Pittman, Aaron Thompson, and Jereme Leonard. More details on the series are expected to be announced in the coming weeks leading up to the series premiere on October 21.
