Netflix has announced that the next chapter in its “Fear Street” series of films, “Fear Street: Prom Queen,” will arrive on May 23, 2025.
The latest “Fear Street” franchise installment is set in 1988 during prom season at Shadyside High. The school’s wolfpack of ‘It Girls’ is busy with its usual sweet and vicious campaigns for the crown. But when a gutsy outsider puts herself in the running, and the other girls start mysteriously disappearing, the class of ’88 is suddenly in for one hell of a prom night.
“Fear Street: Prom Queen” features an ensemble cast made up of India Fowler (“The Nevers”), Suzanna Son (“Red Rocket”), Fina Strazza (“Paper Girls”), David Iacono (“The Summer I Turned Pretty”), Ella Rubin (“The Idea of You”), Chris Klein (“Sweet Magnolias”), Lili Taylor (“Outer Range”), Katherine Waterston (“The End We Start From”), and Ariana Greenblatt (“Barbie”).
The film also stars Darrin Baker (“The Man from Toronto”), Rebecca Ablack (“Ginny & Georgia”), Ilan O’Driscoll (“Titans”), Damian Romeo (“Ginny & Georgia”), Dakota Taylor (“Zero Chill”), Eden Summer Gilmore (“Family Law”), Brennan Clost (“Tiny Pretty Things”), Cecilia Lee (“My Dreams of You”), and Ryan Rosery (“Mayor of Kingstown”).
Netflix’s “Fear Street” franchise debuted in 2021 with the trilogy of films “Fear Street: 1994,” “Fear Street: 1978,” and “Fear Street: 1666,” which explored the deadly history of Shadyside and the evil force that has plagued the town for centuries.
