Stranger Things Day is this Sunday, November 6. First celebrated by Netflix in 2018, the date marks the anniversary of the day the character Will Byers went missing in the hit Netflix series “Stranger Things.” Since then, Netflix has commemorated the event with various online and offline events celebrating the fan-favorite series, and this year is no exception.
Theatrical Screenings
For this year’s Stranger Things Day, theaters across North America are hosting screenings of “Stranger Things 4,” Volume 2. Each screening event will feature trivia, giveaways, and other surprises for superfans. Come dressed to impress, and you’ll also have a shot at scoring some exciting prizes. Prizes will be rewarded for the best costume. Stranger Things: The Experience & Stranger Things Stores
Those heading to Stranger Things: The Experience on Stranger Things Day in Atlanta or London, along with visitors to the Stranger Things stores in Dallas, Miami, or Paris, or Netflix at the Grove in Los Angeles, will be able to celebrate with exclusive merch, free giveaway, and other fun surprises. Dress up as your favorite character and make it on the Hawkins’ Best Dressed wall.
A Roblox Watch Party
Netflix is also hosting the first ever fully immersive “Stranger Things” Watch Party Experience on Roblox. Launching at 11 AM PT on November 6, season 1, episode 1 will screen every hour, on the hour in Roblox through 11:59 PM on November 13. In addition to watching the episode that started it all, fans will be able to explore iconic locations in Hawkins to unlock free UGC items, including Max’s Walkman, an 80s Bike, Waffle Backpack, Eddie’s Guitar, and Steve’s Bat.
