Elvira, Mistress of the Dark is moving into a new neighborhood…or at least she is in the world of Department 56 Halloween Villages. The horror hostess and Halloween icon now has her very own house as part of Department 56’s Hot Properties Village Collection.
The lit resin house is handcrafted and hand-painted and while not an exact replica, definitely takes inspiration from the home Elvira inherits in the film “Elvira, Mistress of the Dark.” Decked out with bats and autumn leaves, this horror mansion is primed for Elvira’s favorite night of the year.
The Department 56 Elvira House is available for pre-order now through Department56.com for $125 and should also be available wherever you buy Department 56 villages later this year.
Elvira and her punk rock pup Gonk are also available as a coordinating accessory. Sold separately, Elvira Walking Gonk costs $30 and is also available for pre-order, and is expected to arrive in the Department 56 warehouses on July 27, 2021.
